Remember the Good Ol Days?

Whatever happened to the good ol days? When life much simpler.  When things we cheaper. It was like people were nicer and everyone was friendly and mostly honest.

What happened to man asking a woman out for a nice dinner and movie?  Now, he's asking her out for dinner and booty call.  Remember, when you would go to the store and they always used to carry you groceries out?  Now, it is hit or miss.  What about when you'd go buy a house and you could get a normal loan and actually pay it off the house.  Now, you never know what the heck kind of loan your getting.

I often tell my kids when I was growing you could take a dollar to the store and get a bag of chips, cold drink (soda or pop to you folks up north), bar of candy, a pack of now-a-laters or a pack of gum.  Now, you can't even buy a pack of gum or a candy bar.  Really!  Kids, today need like $50 bucks just to get a little treat.  Sad!

Remember, when you could turn on the radio and and listen to good music.  With real singers not these auto-tune wanna-be's.  Aww, remember when the whole family could sit down and watch TV together.  You know when you didn't have to send the kids out of the room.  Or when TV was a real show that had a scripts and plot.  No reality TV hell.  Seriously! What are we coming too?

I miss the good ol days.  It was a nice time.  But if we went back there what the heck would we do with out our smart phone, twitter, facebook, and cable.  We problably couldn't handle it.  Oh well, just live off the memories.

Ahhh the good old days. I remember the now and laters use to get them all the time that and some hot sausage. Times are changing by the time we get in our 60's things will be different again.

It's so funny that you mention the good ole days. I have siblings who are 10, 12, and 14 years younger than I am. I am always telling them about how much things have changed from when I was their age, even though it was only a decade ago. Things were definitely simpler then. Sigh!
