3 Cooking Shortcuts That Will Save You Lots of Time!

Actually, I like to cook but I don't have a lot of time or room.  With that being said I still want to give my family a good meal from time to time.  I had to think long and hard about how I was going to accomplish that.  I thought of some great cooking tips that would help a busy Mom make a great meal.

3 Cooking Shortcuts

  1. Pre-cooking your meat. Meat always takes the longest to cook. If you cook it separate in to freezer bags you will cut your cooking time in half.  Take what you need to prepare a meal. Thaw with a little steam action in a skillet. Prepare your meal.
  2. Buy paks of frozen chopped veggies. In the Freezer Section of your grocery store you can always find chopped veggies that you can take out and warm in like 5 minutes.  You can find a mix like onions & peppers, broccoli & cauliflower, and chopped spinach.
  3. Cook up a pack of sausage and can of biscuits the night before while your kids are doing home works.  Bag them and put them in the Fridge. Sausage Biscuits make a quick breakfast when your on the run. In morning when you are getting ready pop them in the Microwave for like 30 to 45 seconds and you are good to go.

These simple little tips help me out much!  Coming up I'll be showing you how to make a great meal using your pre-cooked meat.  You will have a yummy meal with very little effort.
